The service was pretty quick and the malanga cream was delicious. We didn't like the scrambled eggs though, it was tasteless, it didnt even had a pinch of salt. We also had a croque mounsier, it was pretty good although the bread was really bland.

A must try while in the area. Inside the mall and it's deceivingly hidden. A nice little gem of a place that has a full lunch menu to offer. The food is always fresh and very tasty. An incredible little find that doesn't disappoint.

When you're at the international mall and craving something different from the regular food court fare, this isn't a bad choice.

It's sort of a french cafe with a Spanish twist. They have crepes and baguettes and other french items, but you can still get a Materva soda or a cortadito coffee, for example, with your lunch. They will greet you first in Spanish, of course, but seemed to understand most English. Luckily I'm a whiz at Spanglish!

We ordered the soup and sandwich specials. Your sandwich comes on your choice of bread (choose the french baguette).I didn't realize it came with cheese. I ordered a turkey sandwich without mayo expecting it to be served cold, but it came hot and there was a lot of cheese melted over the lettuce and tomato and turkey slices. It wasn't bad after I peeled off the cheese and added a touch of mustard. The soup was either "of the day" (lentil, I think) or onion soup. I chose onion soup. It came in a small crock with a lot of cheese melted over the bread and onions. The soup broth and onions were decent. If I got it again, I'd say no cheese, please.

You order snd pay at the counter. They give you a number to put on your table and then deliver your food to you. They weren't busy so it didn't take very long. The place is quite small. But cozy rather than claustrophobic.

This is the best place to eat at International Mall. People need to remember that it is located in the mall's FOOD COURT, where you can grab a quick bite. I think some of these reviews are a little harsh. Don't visit this cafe if you're in search of a fine dining 5-course meal experience. They don't claim to be anything they're not.
I've been eating here for years and have never had a problem with service, food or food quality. The lunch specials are great for the price and are definitely homemade. Soups are delicious. Desserts are excellent as well as the coffee.

My favorites--stuffed chicken with spinach, arroz moros, and yuca with a side salad. Natilla or flan for dessert and a cortadito.
Cream of vegetable soup if available or garbanzo. My husband likes the fish with rice and salad or the chicken sandwich on French bread.
